Deposit and Cancellations
Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you have paid is non-refundable. If you need to cancel please contact us immediately and we will do everything we can to re-let your room, if we are successful we will make no further charge, if we are not, the charge for the first night of your stay becomes payable. If you suddenly cut short your stay then you are liable to pay for 50% of the remainder outstanding days. Failing to take up your booking without cancelling, renders you liable for the total amount of your stay. For this reason you may wish to take out cancellation insurance.
Non-availability
We would only ever cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would always attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however, if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you then we would refund ALL monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Payment
We regret that we do not accept debit/credit cards. Cheques (with Bankers card) are acceptable, made payable Verandah House. We also accept Euros.
Arrival and Departure
Arrival is normally between 4:00pm and 8:00pm and departure before 10:30am. Should you find these times inconvenient, please contact us.
No Smoking Policy
This house and any area within it is smoke free. If you are in breach of it you will be liable for charges of loss of business plus expenses for deep cleaning of the room and soft furnishings.
Disability Access
Due to the age and construction of the house, we regret that the property may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.
