Looking forward to planning a trip to see the London Olympics in 2012. Why not avoid the huge crowds of the city centre and surrounding areas and hop on a train in the opposite direction and head to Suffolk. Just an hour away by train and an hour and a half on the A12 or M11 and head for Stowmarket. We at Verandah House are just 10 minutes walk from the station. Whether or not you want to extend your visit from London whilst you are in the UK and stay at this very comfortable family run Georgian house right in the centre of Mid Suffolk and all the beautiful attractions and countryside.
