Welcome to Verandah House

Verandah House is an historic grade II listed building, located in the centre of Stowmarket, and is a fine example of a Georgian gentlemans residence.

Built originally around 1700, a cottage and stables were added to the original house in 1729. Later in the mid 1800s the main house and cottage were joined together with the addition of a substantial Victorian extension, to provide the charming house we now enjoy today.

Our house is less than 100m from the Regal Theatre, and little more than a five minute stroll from the Market Place, yet Verandah House is surprisingly quiet and peaceful within its tranquil walled garden.
